Bedding
All precision bedding is done using aluminium pillars to
withstand the “crushing effect” from the action
screws. Due to the difficulty of achieving full contact
between two metal surfaces these pillars are left slightly
low and a layer of either Marine Tex, Bisonite or Devcon is
applied over them to achieve 100% contact between stock and
action.
This method provides an extremely stable union between
action and stock. Benchrest actions can be glued to the
stock with Marine Tex if required.
All barrels are left free floating.
